Results of this year\u2019s Label Design Awards for Wine, Beer and Spirits, proudly sponsored by self-adhesive label supplier Rotolabel, with Avery Dennison, Kemtek|HP Indigo, and Synchron in a secondary capacity, have been announced.<\/p>\n

An initiative begun in 2015 by Winemag.co.za, wine was the sole focus, to begin with, before beer was added in 2018 \u2013 many a winemaker said, \u201cYou can\u2019t make good wine without good beer.\u201d This year, there were 50 wine and 26 beer entries.<\/p>\n

The big winners were: Lubanzi \u201cOrange Is\u201d 2022 by Pr$dnt Honey, which won the Grand Prix in Wine, and Mad Giant Extra Fresh Lager by Haumann & Smal Design Studio in Beer.<\/p>\n

There were also two entries in Wine that won gold, namely Orpheus & The Raven Eternal 8 2022, as well as Orpheus & The Raven \u2013 Wines in a Series by Bravo Design.<\/p>\n

In Beer, Bomb Squad Lager by Janneman won gold.<\/p>\n

The People\u2019s Choice, meanwhile, is determined by public vote conducted online. In Wine, this went to Cloudskraal Nieu Sauvignon Blanc 2023 by Studio Sebastian, and in Beer, to Bomb Squad Lager.<\/p>\n
